November 10, 2020
Sound Audiology launches seasonal competition “Hear for the Holidays” on November 1.
One person from each of the SOUND Audiology clinics will win complimentary hearing aids, changing their life this winter and beyond.
Local residents are invited to nominate someone who could benefit from better hearing.
The competition will close on November 30, with the winner announced soon after.
Kennewick – On November 1, Sound Audiology is launching “Hear for the Holidays,” where one person from each of the SOUND Audiology clinics will win a complimentary pair of hearing aids and premium care.
This is one way in which the independent audiology clinic is giving back to communities in Kennewick, Walla Walla, Prosser, and the surrounding areas this holiday season.
Local residents can nominate someone they believe would benefit from better hearing using a simple form on their website throughout November.
The competition will finish on November 30, with the winners then invited to a comprehensive hearing assessment and a personalized fitting.
Lori Losey Lovato, owner of Sound Audiology, said:
“We know that the events of the past year have made life extremely tough for anyone with an untreated hearing loss.
“Hear for the Holidays is one way that we can help someone in the communities we serve who wouldn’t otherwise be able to invest in fantastic hearing technology.
“The holiday season is a time when everyone should be able to connect with others, and whether this takes place online or in person, hearing aids can make this possible.”
The widespread use of face masks, which prevent lip reading, has led many to realize that they have a hearing loss during the pandemic.
But recently, researchers have highlighted how the coronavirus can impact hearing more directly.
As a result, it’s vital that people get a comprehensive hearing assessment during their coronavirus recovery period and seek urgent assistance if they witness sudden deafness.
Sound Audiology is accepting in-person appointments at its Kennewick, Walla Walla, and Prosser locations.
